Japan recalls ambassador to Seoul
Move follows S Korean president's visit to islands close to rich fishing grounds and which may contain gas deposits.

Japan is recalling its ambassador in Seoul in protest at South Korean President Lee Myung Bak's visit to a group of disputed islands.

Both claim the islands, which are roughly equidistant from the two countries.
