A museum in the US has added a 66-million-year-old fossil to its collection.
One of the world’s most complete specimens of the Tyrannosaurus Rex will eventually be on display at the Smithsonian museum in Washington.
Visitors will be able to watch staff unpack, catalogue, photograph and digitally scan the bones.
Once assembled, the dinosaur will be the centrepiece of a new Dinosaur and Fossil Hall set to open in 2019.
Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports from Washington.
