Obama challenged on ambassador choices

The American Foreign Service Association has demanded the US president proves his nominees are qualified.

The American Foreign Service Association has demanded that US president Barack Obama give proof that his nominees for ambassadorial positions are qualified. 

The nominees to become Ambassadors in Norway, Argentina and Hungary raised more than four million dollars for President Obama’s re-election, but displayed little knowledge of their future posts in confirmation hearing.
