Obama unveils plan to tackle poverty

So-called Promise Zones will provide tax incentives to help communities tackle poverty by bridging income gaps.

US President Obama has announced the creation of five areas to address the growing problem of income inequality.

The “Promise Zones,” which will be in areas struggling economically will help bridge the gap created by income inequality by offering investments and training to low-income areas.
