One of the most popular cereal brands in the United States has given in to public pressure and removed genetically modified ingredients from its product.
Original Cheerios is the latest in a string of food products that are now free of GMOs, which activists say can cause health and environmental problems.
And as Al Jazeera’s Cath Turner reports from Washington as a movement against genetically modified food continues to gain momentum around the world.
