China boosts Chile copper industry

Chileans have been digging deeper copper mines to meet China's strong demand.

Last year, 80 percent of Chile's copper was exported to China in deals worth 14 billion dollars.

Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Chile's largest underground mine.
