50th anniversary of JFK assassination marked

Historians speculate on the legacy of Kennedy, the youngest ever US president, decades after his killing.

    Revered as a champion of civil rights and liberalism, John F Kennedy remains, at 43, the youngest US President ever elected. Fifty years on from his assassination, he is being honoured.
