Contractors for the US government’s troubled healthcare website say the site may not have been ready to go public.

They are testifying before the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

Among the contractors appearing before the House Committee is the Canadian technology firm CGI, which designed and built the website.

It is Canada’s largest technology company.
