Qatar and India launch satellites into orbit

Telecommunications satellite sent into space marks historic moment for Gulf country’s space ambitions.

Qatar and India are launching satellites into space on Thursday from a tiny part of France in South America.

While the launch is Qatar’s first, it represents a new push into establishing their own satellites in orbit for both countries.
