Indigenous Canadians demand government action

Thousands protesting in cities across Canada calling for more rights and better living conditions.

    Hundreds of indigenous Canadians have continued a campaign of protests in the capital and other major cities.

    They are calling for more rights and better living conditions on reserves, and one protest leader has been on hunger strike for weeks.
