US army improves brain trauma treatment

Military involves private sector to help veterans with brain injury regain their independence.

The US military says it has made great advances in treating veterans who suffer from traumatic brain injury.

The recovery process for these men and women lasts a lifetime. The government is now teaming up with the private sector to help these patients regain their independence.

Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports.
