California cities under fiscal pressure
Most populous US state starting to see a domino effect, with Compton the latest to confront a funds crunch.

California has started to see a bankruptcy domino effect among its cities.

In June this year Stockton was the largest city in the US to declare insolvency. San Bernardino and Mammoth Lakes followed.

The financial downturn has also affected the city of Compton, which is expected to run out of funds next month.

Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports from the city.
