The White House has released new video showing president Barack Obama and his national security team immediately after the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

It took five days to release the material - a conscious decision perhaps not to inflame opinion that says bin Laden should not have been killed.

In the days after the death of bin Laden - Obama's approval ratings have risen. Meeting troops in the state of Kentucky, Obama was full of praise for the team who made that happen.
