Economies in sub-Saharan Africa have managed to record growth bucking against the global economic turmoil.
However, the IMF has warned that while Africa is beginning to deliver on its economic potential, many problems remain, including poverty, inequality and high youth unemployment.
In South Africa, where nearly five million youth are unemployed, youth have struggled to find work.
Many in Johannesburg’s Soweto area say economic growth has not translated into real jobs for the young people.
