The ruling party of South Africa, the African National Congress, has said that it will transform the economy and introduce new jobs.
Speaking at a policy conference in Johannesburg, President Jacob Zuma promised new ways to encourage growth.
But as Al Jazeera’s Tania Page reports, there are few details on his big plans.
