Kenya to ‘continue fighting al-Shabab’
East African nation says it has a right to defend itself as long as Somali group threatens to attack its territory.

Kenyan troops and Somali government forces say they have captured the key al-Shabab base of Tabda and killed 75 fighters.
The joint offensive is in retaliation for al-Shabab raids into Kenya to kidnap westerners.
Kenya says it has a right to defend itself and operations like these will continue for as long as al-Shabab threatens to attack its territory.
