South Sudan military 'ready'
SPLA says it is ready for the challenges of independence, even an atack from the North.

Concerns have been raised that the potential split between north and south Sudan could plunge the country into war.

But commanders of the military force in south Sudan, the SPLA, say they are well equipped to deal with any situation that may arise, including an attack from the north.
