Rafa through in three sets

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal defeats German Peter Peter Gojowczyk in the semi final of the ExxonMobil Open in Doha.

Rafa Nadal had to recover from a slow start to defeat Peter Gojowczyk and progress through to the final of the ExxonMobil Open in Doha.

The Spaniard lost the first set before pulling away to defeat his German opponent 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Nadal now progresses to the final on Saturday where he will play the winner of the other semi-final contested by Gael Monfils of France and Florian Mayer of Germany.
