Qatar looks beyond Arab Games
Opening cermeony heralds start of regional games in Qatar but Doha organisers insist their Olympic ambitions remain.

Al Jazeera's Andy Richardson reports as the Arab Games open in Doha.

But having held the Asian Games in 2006 and missed out in the running for the 2017 World Athletics Championships, this tournament's hosts are intent on adding the Olympics to their growing roster of major events which includes the football World Cup in 2022.
