Brazil safe and ready for sporting events

The Confederations Cup is just one of the tournaments landing on Brazil's doorstep and organisers say they are ready.

Safety is always a concern at major sporting events. And Brazil has one or two to host over the next few years.

But authorities say nation is ready after investing $1billion into security for upcoming Confederations Cup, World Cup and Olympic Games.
