Businessman and reality TV star Donald Trump is set to assume the presidency of the United States in January.
But how big a role did gender bias play in the election?
"I really think it’s not a major theme at all; she wasn’t a great candidate," says author Naomi Wolf. "There are any number of women who would have done a much better job, and she kept making the same mistake over and over."
"That does not completely dismiss the fact that this culture of misogyny, that tolerated all of the horrors of Donald Trump, did not play a factor," responds Professor Hamid Dabashi.
