About the series

Surprising Europe is an energetic magazine series, hosted by hip hop artist K-Nel, which shows the real experiences of African migrants in Europe – stories of despair, inspiration, hope and creativity. All the reporters are migrants themselves with first-hand experience of coming to Europe, and the series shows the dark, the light and the downright strange sides to this serious issue.
