Watch part two

Confronting Israel cost the small kingdom of Jordan both territory and security.

It left the ruler, King Hussein, playing a delicate balancing act for much of his 46-year reign over a country which has equally become home to Palestinians as well as Jordanians.

So what would he think of the situation in the Middle East today?

As Jordan marks the tenth anniversary of the passing of King Hussein, his widow, remembers the husband, father and Arab statesman.

Her Majesty Queen Noor joins the Riz Khan show and we ask, what prospect is there for real peace, as Israelis and Palestinians find themselves further apart in the wake of the Gaza crisis?

This episode of the Riz Khan show aired from Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
