After three decades of reporting on the Middle East, award-winning journalist and author Robert Fisk shies away from no one.

In his new book, The Age of the Warrior, Fisk calls Tony Blair, the former British prime minister, and George Bush, the US president, "tiny men" and argues that a new US president, whether Barack Obama or John McCain, will not be able to change the way the West treats the Arab world.

He also has tough words for his colleagues in the media, noting that they too often defer to power rather than challenging it.

On Tuesday's Riz Khan we will ask Fisk if there is any reason to be hopeful about the situation in the Middle East and if there are any real signs of change in the region.
