The country’s military leaders now say that the new constitution, Thailand’s 20th, will pave the way for peace and stability.
Thai voters overwhelmingly approved the military-backed draft constitution on Sunday.
But critics argue that the document will just solidify the military’s hold on the government.
So, is the referendum about grabbing more power? Or about returning to democracy?
