An historic prisoner exchange has taken place between Israel and Hezbollah. The deal follows German-led negotiations and resulted in the freeing of five prisoners held by Israel in exchange for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers, killed two years ago. Hezbollah has been celebrating the release of its last captives in Israel as a victory. Many Israelis, though, see it as a painful necessity.
Why is it happening now? Who stands to gain? And what is the next move between these old enemies?
