After 18 months of political uncertainty, Lebanon has a new leader. Michel Sleiman has been sworn in as president.

The Lebanese people hope they can now look forward to a better future than the bloodshed of the past.

Yet there is a number of unresolved issues, including the weapons of Hezbollah, the relationship with Syria and the next commander of the army.

Inside Story asks if the conflict has now moved from the streets to the Lebanese parliament and what lies ahead for Lebanon.
