Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, is meeting George Bush, the US president at the Bush family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine.
On the face of it, it is a casual, convivial meeting.
But relations between the US and Russia are at possibly their most difficult since the Cold War.
As both men near the end of their presidencies, can this tete a tete help to thrash out some of their differences, and what is on the real agenda?
