Last week football’s world governing body FIFA announced it was banning international matches from being played at altitudes higher than 2,500m (8,200ft).

It is a ruling which has prompted Evo Morales, the president of Bolivia, to lace up his football boots in protest.

As Rahul Pathak explains, officials in Ecuador, Colombia and Peru are not taking the decision lightly either.

Golf’s second major of the season begins next week at Oakmont – considered the most difficult course in North America.  Justin Rose is one player tipped to do well.

The 26-year-old has jumped over 50 world ranking places in the last six months and came painfully close to winning the Master’s at Augusta earlier this year.

Sportsworld’s Carrie Brown caught up with Rose ahead of the tournament to talk tactics, psychology, and his chances of a first major victory.
