Many  women have left husbands and children behind
to serve for the Unifil
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon was created in 1978, under Security Council resolutions 425 and 426, to confirm Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, restore the international peace and security, and help the Lebanese government restore its effective authority in the area.

With the conflict still unsettled, Unifil strives to prevent hostilities and protect civilians caught in fighting.

Everywoman got exclusive access to the women serving in Lebanon with Unifil.

They come from Belgium, France, Spain and Ireland.

Many have left husbands and children behind to serve in this peace keeping force.
