The most basic commodities in the world are often the most sought-after - and the most abused.

Kate Kelly says she was only half joking when she used the term "the secret club that runs the world" to describe the trading houses that set the prices of the world's basic goods.

Kelly's investigations have given the author of the book The Secret Club That Runs The World access to commodity trading's inner circle. She talks to Counting the Cost about banks, commodity traders and their impact on the world's economy.
