In November, Counting the Cost came to you directly from the Dubai Air Show 2011. And the undoubted star of that show was Boeing's 787 Dreamliner - touted by the company as "the first all-new airplane of the 21st century".

While only in service with one commercial airline right now, Boeing is taking its test planes on a worldwide six-month 'Dream Tour'. The latest stop was our backyard, Doha, on Qatar National Day (December 18).

Counting the Cost was among those invited on board for a one-hour demonstration flight over the Qatari capital.

Host Kamahl Santamaria self-filmed this web video to give you an idea of what flying on this new carbon-composite, more environmentally-friendly plane will be like.
