Al Jazeera Media Network’s Creative Division has picked up five awards at the World PromaxBDA Promotion, Marketing and Design Awards in Los Angeles.
PromaxBDA was established in 1956 to help recognise and acknowledge organisations who are engaged in the marketing of television and video content on all platforms.
Al Jazeera’s Creative Division was honoured in various categories for its creativity and cutting edge promotional content across all platforms.
In the News/Information Programme Campaign category, Al Jazeera won two awards which included Gold for its origami promotional video for the 2012 US Presidential elections, while also picking up a Bronze for its Inside Story on Al Jazeera English promotional content.
In the News/Information Programme Spot category, Al Jazeera won a Silver award for Tweets from Tahrir promotional content and a Bronze for the 2012 US Presidential elections origami promotional video.
In the Art Director and Design category for News Programme Open/Titles which recognises any news or current affairs programme or show opening title sequence, Al Jazeera’s People and Power won a Silver award.
