Al Jazeera has gained exclusive access to a rebel group inside Syria.

Members of the Liwaa Al-Islam Brigade have been training to fight government forces and learn the tactics of urban warfare.

In the captured army base in the outskirts of Damascus, the rebels also showed the weapons at their disposal.

Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal reports.
