Qatar in bid to harbour resources

Gulf state focusing on sustainable development following rapid expansion of population and industry.

    Despite being located in one of the least sustainable areas of the world, the Gulf state of Qatar has experienced massive growth in its population and industry.

    Following its rapid expansion, the country now faces intense competition for resources and is focusing its attention on sustainable development. 

    Rosie Garthwaite reports from Doha, the Qatari capital.
