Mothers visit US prisoners in Iran

US prisoners reunite with mothers for the first time since their detention in July.

The mothers of three young Americans detained in Iran since July will meet with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran.

The trio are accused of spying - but their families deny the accusation, saying they were only hiking in Iraq's scenic north, and accidentally crossed the border into Iran.

    Al Jazeera's Alireza Ronaghi reports.
