Al-Qaeda 'targets Baghdad homes'

Series of bombings in residential areas of the Iraqi capital blamed on fighters.

    Dozens of civilians have been killed or injured in the past month by a series of explosions in residential areas in Baghdad.

    Iraqi officials blame al-Qaeda for the bombings, but the group has denied it has started to target civilian buildings.
