More than 20 years have passed since the declaration of a ceasefire which ended the war between Iran and Iraq. But the fate of tens of thousands of soldiers who fought in the conflict is still unknown.

The Iraqi and Iranian governments agreed last year to speed up efforts to account for those missing since the 1980-88 war. However, for many families progress has been frustratingly slow.
