netanyahu does not mention palestinian quest for statehood in his speech about peace in gaza

Video: Palestinian state ignored

Netanyahu fails to talk on Palestinian state

He spoke about the Palestinians having a “partner for peace”, and of helping them to build “a strong economy”.

But a day after Benyamin Netanyahu secured the Labor party into his coalition he made no mention of the Palestinians’ quest for statehood.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told Al Jazeera Netanyahu’s coalition remains the most extreme in the country’s history. Al Jazeera’s Ayman Moyheldin reports from Jerusalem.
