Gazans miss Hajj due to political divisions  

Saudi Arabia places strict controls on the numbers of Muslims travelling across the world to Mecca for the Hajj.

Governments worldwide select pilgrims according to the quota given to them.

Yet, in the divided Palestinian territories, those applying through the West Bank were allocated permits, while those applying through Gaza were not.
