A suicide bomber has killed more than 10 people and wounded another 10 at a police recruitment centre in eastern Baghdad.
A man detonated himself on Thursday when police tried to search him as he stood in a queue outside the entrance to the centre, police said.
At least two of the dead are believed to be policemen.
The area around the centre, close to Palestine Street in the Rusafa district of the Iraqi capital, had been placed under a traffic ban after the centre had come under attack three times in the past.
Last year, in October, a suicide bomber killed 17 people when he blew himself up on a bus dropping police cadets off at the academy.
