Fighting between Ukrainian security forces and pro-Russian separatists has intensified in eastern Ukraine in recent days, causing a rise in civilian casualties.
More residents are trying to flee their homes as they face increased shelling from the conflict.
Al Jazeera’s Charles Stratford reports from the rebel-controlled town of Yelenovka.
