Winter storms have brought havoc to transport networks in some parts of Europe.

Almost 250,000 homes suffered blackouts after electricity went down in Northern France.

And Christmas celebrations are being severly dampened in the UK where flood warnings have been issued across much of the country.

Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from London.
