Euro slump discourages UK
Troubles within the eurozone harden resistance to the single currency.

Of the 27 EU member states, the United Kingdom is one of 11 countries that do not use the euro currency.

As the pan-European currency has weakened, some who supported joining the club have been discouraged, while others have hardened their opposition. 

Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher reports from the coastal city of Brighton on the new UK government's resistance to the euro.
