Iran cuts ties with British Museum
Move follows institution's delay in lending Persian treasure for public display in Iran.

Iran has cut ties with the British Museum over the loan to the Islamic republic of an ancient Persian treasure.

Tehran says officials at the museum failed to meet a final deadline for the transfer of the Cyrus Cylinder and have ruled out further visits by British archaeological teams to Iran.
