Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, has sacked a senior interior minister in Ingushetia, after 20 people were killed by a powerful bomb there.
Officers were apparently targetted as they reported for inspection. At least 60 other people were injured, and local hospitals struggled to cope as blood supplies ran out.
Al Jazeera's Harry Smith reports.
