Protesters fight Hungarian police

Police fire tear gas at right-wing marchers after bystanders attacked.

    Police moved in after a group from the right-wing march attacked people leaving a separate rally by the Hungarian Democratic Charta movement and various Roma organisations.

    The far right has been increasingly active in Hungary in recent years, hosting frequent protests against Ferenc Gyurcsany, the socialist prime minister.
