Pakistan PM makes first national address

Nawaz Sharif vows to pursue talks with fighters and improve India ties in first address to country since taking office.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has addressed the nation for the first time on television since being sworn into office in June.

Sharif promised to pursue dialogue with armed groups, end the country’s energy crisis, and improve relations with India.
