Al Jazeera has obtained a video which appears to show Taliban fighters preparing for an attack on one of the main military bases inside Afghanistan earlier this month.

The assault on Camp Bastion on September 14 left two US marines dead and six Harrier jump jets destroyed.

The footage highlights the apparent planning put in to the operation and the link of the attackers to the Haqqani network in Pakistan.

Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith reports from Kabul.
