Karzai challenger calls for political change  
 

The main opposition to Hamid Karzai, the incumbent Afghan president, is Abdullah Abdullah, a former foreign minister for the country.

He highlights the growing mistrust between the people and the leadership in his campaign and has called for sweeping changes in all aspects of governance.
